The AC-2102 features a Four-Stage filter assembly: Activated Carbon filter, HEPA filter, VOC filter and TiO2 filter with UV Light . Targeted to effectively remove smoke1, dust1, pollen1, PM2.51, bacteria2, mold2 and virus3 in a 1,000 cu.ft. space. Both HEPA and VOC filters are designed to operate continuously for up to 2,000 hours.

CARBON FILTER: Removes contaminants through adsorption. Adsorption means that contaminants are attracted to the surface of the activated carbon and held to it, much the same way a magnet attracts and holds iron filings. Carbon filters also act as a catalyst to change the chemical composition of some contaminants.

HEPA Filter: A high-efficiency air filter that captures 99.5% of airborne pollutant particles as small as 0.3 microns, including spores, pollen, mold, pet dander and dust.

VOC (Formaldehyde) Filter: Formaldehyde and other VOCs can be found in building materials, foam insulation, household products and fuel-burning appliances. They can prompt headaches, vomiting, rashes, asthma attacks and some are suspected to cause cancer. AC-2102 VOC honeycomb filter has 8.5oz of modified Activated Carbon impregnated with 8.5oz of Zeolite particles. Effectively removes formaldehye, toluene and VOC. Factory tested: VOC removal efficiency reaches 95%, under the following conditions: 1m3 test room; initial concentration: 1.9-2mg/m3; 4hrs testing. TiO2 (titanium Oxide) Filter with UV Light: Photo catalytic oxidation is achieved when UV ray combines with a TiO2-coated filter. This process creates hydroxyl radicals and super-oxide ions, which are highly reactive electrons. These electrons aggressively combine with other elements in the air, such as bacteria and volatile organic compounds (VOC), which are harmful pollutants. Once bound together, the chemical reaction takes place between the super-charges ion and the pollutant, effectively “oxidizing” or burning the pollutant. This breaks the pollutant down into harmless carbon dioxide and water molecules.

Common airborne diseases caused by viruses or bacteria: the common cold (virus), influenza or flu (virus), COVID-19 (coronavirus, or SARS-CoV-2), mumps (virus), chickenpox (virus), measles (virus), whooping cough or pertussis (bacteria), tuberculosis or TB (bacteria), diphtheria (bacteria), etc.
Improving indoor air quality and ventilation can reduce the exposure to and transmission of airborne diseases. An air purifier can play a key role to improve air ventilation4.

WARRANTY

We warrant our products to be defect free in material and workmanship for a period of ONE YEAR from the date of purchase. Defective products may be sent back by the original purchaser or any subsequent owner within the warranty period, with proof of purchase date to us.

Manufacturer covers freight (both ways) for repair within 1 month from date of purchase. After 1 month to 1 year, manufacturer covers the return freight to customer (one way).

Defective products will be repaired or replaced, at manufacturer's discretion, free of charge. All replacement parts or units will be new or reconditioned. Parts or units, which are replaced, become our property. Warranty after repair or replacement will not be extended beyond the original one-year period.

The warranty does not apply to any unit that has been tampered with, nor to damages incurred through improper use and care, faulty packing or mishandling by any common carrier.

What is NOT COVERED:

Warranty does not include freight charges. Buyer pays return freight to repair facility. (After first month)
Incidental or consequential damage caused by possible defects with this product.
Damage to product caused by improper power supply voltage, accident, fire, floods or acts of nature.
Failure of product resulting from unauthorized modifications to the product.
Improper installation or failure to perform the necessary maintenance.

Manufacturer's sole obligation and your exclusive remedy under this warranty are limited to such repair or replacement. This is a limited warranty and is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other legal rights varying from state to state.

RETURN POLICY

Products may be returned within 30 days of receipt. Returned products must be in new, fully functional, and undamaged condition. Returns must include the original box, packing materials, manuals, and accessories. All returns must have a return merchandise authorization number (RMA. SHIPPING AND HANDLING COSTS ($53.00 for this unit) ARE NOT REFUNDABLE AND THE PURCHASER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE COST OF THE RETURN SHIPPING. All returns will be inspected and we reserve the right to adjust the refund depending upon the condition of the returned product. To obtain a RMA number, please contact Wacky Hippo.

Defective Products

All defective products will be handled by the manufacturer under the terms of their product warranty.

Damaged Shipments
If your package arrives damaged, please contact Wacky Hippo within 24 HOURS of delivery to report any damages and arrange for a replacement. Sometimes damage from shipments may not be visible, so it is very important that you carefully check and test your new merchandise. If the damage is obvious upon delivery, you should refuse the shipment and note the damages to the driver. Damaged shipments cannot be returned for full refund or credit toward other products, only replacement of the same item.

RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization)
Once a RMA number is issued, the merchandise must be returned within 15 days. The RMA number expires after 15 days and will not be extended or renewed. You are responsible for all expenses associated with the return shipment of the product to us. You are also responsible for properly packing the product in its original packaging and including all product manuals, parts and accessories as well as insuring the value of the item. Any shipping damages that occur will be your responsibility to handle with the shipping agent. We reserve the right to adjust or deny a full refund of the purchase price if the product is not returned in this manner.

All refused orders, etc will be charged 30% restock.
